Definitely not recommended” by Mary
My standard test for dish brushes is to see how well they remove porridge remnants from a non-stick pan with a dimpled base - not the easiest task. The bristles are a bit sparse and with normal use they softened very quickly and became matted rendering the brush virtually useless within 2 weeks of initial use. It has now been relegated to the garden for cleaning bird tables. Pros: None Cons: Large handle uncomfortable so avoid unless you have a dexterity problem.Bristles sparse and poor quality - will permanently deform & matt in a very short period. Ineffective even when first used
A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review and speaking with our customer service colleagues. We're sorry the brushes haven't been as expected. We hope we've been of some help.
Good but not great.” by David Morley
I was undecided in the store whether to purchase Lakelands own brand (cheaper) of pay a bit more and get the reputable brand oxo version. We've had it a couple of weeks and its already showing signs of wear - maybe I'm just too heavy handed when scrubbing my pans but next time I'll just buy The cheaper alternative.
Own goal for OXO” by Mrs Whittaker
The bristles were anything but durable and I barely managed to make the brush last 4 weeks so very poor value. Typical chunky 'OXO' handle but you can't wash up with a posh handle and a squished up mess of bristles! My usual brushes last months in the kitchen and then go on to do duty in the utility room and finally pot-washing in the garden so this one was very poor in comparison.
A note from the team: Thanks for taking the review and taking the time to speak to our customer services team. I'm glad they were able to help.
