Just bought this and put it in place.
1. Looked fine until I put something on it to drain, then I realised there are no ridges or drainage channels. So it needs a drainage mat so stuff can drain properly! It should come with one or be better designed!
2. Instructions show you how to move the spout, but don't explain how to 'move' the drainage holes! I saw the alternative holes blocked up and thought "is this defective", "am I meant to drill new holes", before realising it's only an 'insert'. Clearer instructions please.
Excellent & practical idea, but only 3* because no drainage channels!

I bought this drip tray today, and like the reviewer before me at first I could not see how the water was going to drip from the tray and the instruction do not tell you. However on looking closely at the tray I noticed that the one set of the holes had a clear cover on it, so I removed this and put the cover on the set of holes of the drip tray that I would not be using. And now my drip tray is working perfectly, its a great product what works very well with my dish rack.

The drainer works really well - I bought mine as my sink had no draining area and use it with a wire drainer, but I have a belfast style porcelain sink which sits above the worktop by about 1.5cm. I need to use all 3 legs to lift it above the sink edge and even then it was too flat to drain. I have proped up the back legs on bottle tops and it drains perfectly. Could simplehuman come up with a stylish base to lift the back edge of the drainer to work on a thicker sink. I'm happy to test drive it for them! 4 stars as it's a good product, but doesn't quite work for all sinks.
