Steel Guard®

I thought I would try this one to see if it was any better than the Oven Mate version which I love.
I have to say that I am not so impressed, it is really hard to do large areas, my finger was really tired by the time I had finished, some of the liquid ran down the bottle and made it very slippery, it didn't apply very evenly either.
I wont be buying this version again, will stick with my trusty Oven Mate which is still my number one choice and better than anything I have used before.

I have used this on many things in my home with mixed results.
Heavy use and water related items such as handles and the sink were lovely and shiny when I first used it but it did not seem to make any difference to how quickly the marks returned.
However on items not touched often such as the edgings to the oven door, the main body of the kettle and the toaster it had really made a difference. These have remained noticeably clean and shiny for several weeks after using it.

When my son moved recently I bought this to renovate his stainless steel sink and appliances. I 'm sorry to say I was not impressed and could not see any difference to the surfaces except they were smeary. Perhaps it was me expecting too much, not applying it right, or the appliances were quite grubby to start with (although I did wash them first). I will stick to my usual tried and tested cleaner in future.
