I was wary of buying this when I read the previous review, but decided to go ahead anyway. Am I glad I did! No, it won't clean your oven just like magic, but it will loosen the dirt to enable much easier cleaning. My gas hob was in a right state but just a couple of goes with this steamer and it looks like new again.

I bought this steamer principally to clean our oven shelves and it is brilliant. It cleaned off all the baked in grime with the use of the brass brush attachment (although after one thorough clean of 4 shelves it is quite worn out of shape now). I also got a free facial sauna at the same time!

Glad I decided to buy this new toy - sorry, cleaning aid. Made cleaning cooker hob so much easier, and brought stains out of carpet. Also used it to freshen up skirt. Have now joined ranks of addicted steam cleaners!!!
