“Ecozone® Biobulb

Ordered these on 25th December while on offer. Sat here in the dark 2.4.2011 bulb just gone out. Can't calculate whether I've had 10,000 hours but for the price of the bulb it doesn't seem a long time to be working. Other than that I liked the light it gave off.

“The future is brighter...

...and so is the present. we have a rather dark victorian house and often need a light on in the day in the dining room in the winter. Ordinary energy saving lights are too dim and take ages to get to full illumination. I can now sew and read with out the need for an extra lamp. They are not cheap but they really make a difference

“Ideal for close work

I bought two of these bulbs. Although the days are long at the moment I know these will be superb in the long winter nights. The white light makes it easier to read or sew and they make it seem like daylight. The only problem is they make other lights seem dim and yellow. I shall be getting some more.

“TOO bright!!

I bought two of these bulbs, and they do light up instantly and with a very brilliant light. Unfortunately they are not suitable for what I bought them for - I wanted lighting for our lounge, and when these lights are switched on it feels as though we are all being interrogated!! Subtle lighting it is not, so it is a shame that they are not able to be used for what they were intended for. Disappointed that I cannot use them, but amazing that I have to say it is because they are TOO bright.

“Brilliant Light

What a difference ! Makes all our other long life bulbs look dull and yellow. Brilliant white light, fantastic for hand sewing. Now we just need them in other sizes please.

“Light up your life!

Quite simply the easiest way to brighten your mood, your day, your life. No, really these bulbs are a Winter necessity. If you feel down in Winter it may not be 'SAD', but a bit of extra daylight can do us all good. If like thousands of us you leave for work in the dark, return in the dark and suffer fluorescent light all day - try these bulbs. Eco-friendly A-rated and although not cheap, value for money is expressed in terms of 'Quality of Life'....

“Wonderful white light

I bought these biobulbs four years ago, before Lakeland stocked them. I hunted high and low to find a supplier and I bought one. The light was amazing, so white and like daylight, so I eventually bought another 14 and no-one in my house gets SAD, no matter how dull the weather outside. They take a few minutes to warm up to full brightness but they are so worth the cost. I cannot bear the awful light from cheap low energy bulbs and these fulfill a real need. I hope the price comes down in time but thay are still worth every penny.
