DeLonghi Dehumidifier
Most homes are affected by condensation at some time of the year, especially in kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories, but Delonghi's fabulous new dehumidifier is a quiet and unobtrusive way of keeping the problem at bay. Extremely lightweight for its size (only 5.5kg), it's no hassle to transport it around, and it takes up hardly any space – just plug in, choose one of the three settings, and leave the machine to do its work. The tank holds up to 2 litres of water at any one time, and shuts off the system when full, making it safe to leave on whilst you get on with other things.
And if you have a particularly problematic room, DeLonghi have helpfully included a pipe which can be channelled into the sink or a bucket for continuous draining. With an integral ioniser, an economy setting which helps save on running costs, and an optional built-in heater to boost the drying process for rooms where you hang laundry. A sound long-term investment for any household.

“Excellent for damp kitchens

Really pleased with my new dehumidifier, which I bought to replace an ancient (20 years+) one that had broken.
It's really efficient at removing excess moisture, and can also blow warm air out, which helps laundry dry quicker.
I have a problem with condensation on the walls in my kitchen, especially in winter, but the dehumidifier is brilliant at reducing it.
It looks neat too, and takes up less space than my old bulky dehumidifier.
I wouldn't describe it as being "extremely lightweight", but it is easy to move around thanks to its strong handle.
The electric cord could have done with being longer, in order to reach high kitchen sockets if it's sitting on the floor. Mine just about reaches.
Overall, I'm really pleased with it and would recommend it if you have a problem with condensation build-up.

“Hurrah it works

We bought this being unsure if it would help our damp old farmhouse- but it does indeed, windows dried, washing on airer dried faster, Lakeland should also mention in its qualities that the ioniser is included and a great benefit too and when all comes to all it dries the room - as seen by the water coming out of its collection tank - a tad pricey but it does what it says on the tin!
