The negative reviews surprise me. I've just bought this to replace the old, round version which lasted for several years, and I wouldn't be without a dossil!
It is one of the simplest and most effective products I've ever bought from Lakeland: it stays in place in the shower; traps even relatively short hair; and generally saves a lot of cleaning time - I was always having to fish about in the plug hole to stop hair blockages.
A 5-star product if ever there was one.

I bought one of these to go in each of my showers in my B&B. It works so well that I could have opened a wig making business with the hair that has not now gone down the plugholes. Exactly what is required for a not so super efficient rural drainage system. Thank you Lakeland.

i think its a brilliant little gadget, easy to clean, catches the hairs. i have long hair and it does the trick. i think it is far better than the usual hard plastic ones usually seen to catch hair. didnt even bother to try to stick it down with suction pads... it works fine.
