Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

I'm pleased I bought this product. I have no dryer, and clothes were taking 1-2 days to dry. My clothes had developed a musty smell. I tried this airer, and my clothes no longer smell musty as they are dry overnight. Hint: put heavier items over several bars, and they dry overnight. I turn the clothes over 1-2 times in the evening and cover the airer with a sheet. I'm glad I bought it, although I think the price is quite high.

Fantastic, but could be better!by Elspeth

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

When our tumble dryer died last autumn I decided to replace with one of these. In the main I've been delighted with it and it's much better than draping washing over all the radiators. However, I agree with others' comments that the cord is too short and the on/off button difficult to access (and to switch in our case). Of more concern is the fact that the airer is, as others have said, rather flimsy and leaning increasingly to one side. I use a duvet cover over the airer (with a small gap at the bottom to let the moisture out and the cats in!) and this hugely reduces the drying time.

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

Purchased this to speed up the drying process and to reduce the use of our tumble dryer. We used to stand a concertina airer in the corner of a bedroom and it really seemed to make the room look cluttered, we have put the heated airer in the same place but with only one side open and it dries the same amount of washing quickly and looks much tidier! With one half of the drier closed the heat radiates nicely through the whole wash load.

For all the rain of 2012 and someby Julie

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

This airer has come into it's own with all the rain. I go along with most other reviews, it holds alot and dries everything well. I see the points made on covering with a sheet so I did some trials. I now use a sheet with a cord passed through the long side folded edge, pull it up and drape over the top leaving an opening in the middle which allows for the steam to escape and drying time is even shorter. A curtain could work too. The negative is it was damaged by something that had gone through the box in 2 places and put several nicks in the metal, it works but it's damaged goods full price.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We'll be in touch shortly to discuss the packaging problem. Our buying team have been busy looking into whether you can cover the heated airer. We've tested various types of cover and wouldn't now recommend covering the airer as this may cause condensation which could result in your floors becoming damp

I am really pleased with my purchase, looks good, and works well, but be warned this is alot bigger than it looks! Luckily it also folds down brilliantly for storage. Highly recommended.

Disappointingby E

2 stars out of 5

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

I bought this at the start of the winter based on other positive reviews. I really hoped it would help reduce our tumble drier use. However, I have found it very disappointing. Firstly, the rails are very close together. This makes hanging out the washing quite tricky. Secondly, because the rails are close together there isn't a lot of air circulating. This means that although clothing touching the heated parts dries quickly, the rest doesn't. I also use a Lakeland wooden concertina airer, and I have to say I wish I had bought another instead of this - they are simple but effective.

Good for clothes, not so much for towelsby Madiha

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

Product heats up very quickly, and you can get quite a lot on there. Dries in a day, but uses very little energy, so I guess that's ok. Dries quicker if you put a sheet over the whole stand, to enclose the heat. Towels dry really hard on this, so i have to take them to my mum's place where there is a tumble dryer. That's the only negative I have for this. Overall a good product.

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

This is the second one I have purchased and I have recomended it to so many people, if you are short of space or have no where outside to dry clothes, this is perfect. It is particularly good in the warmer weather as it means not having to put on the heating.

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

Has been fantastic, really pleased that it's as good as I'd hoped!! At last I'm able to keep on top of the washing which is quite a challenge in the winter with a family of 5, including a couple of keen muddy footballers! Thank you for such a fantastic product.

Dry soon airer - Does what it says on the tin!by Alison

4 stars out of 5

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

This is a great piece of kit - dries the clothes overnight and takes up very little space. Two comments that would improve it - Put it on wheels to allow easier movement and secondly the cable is VERY short so you might need an extension lead. But overall a really handy drier that seems to dry clothes much more efficiently than a non heated one.

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

This has really been invaluable in a very wet couple of months. I did what other reviewers suggested and put a double sheet over the top. Even jeans dry overnight. Sometimes I just run it for 3-4 hours to start things off as 300watts/hour can soon mount up. Leave a window slightly open if possible to stop condensation.

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

I love this airer ... After moving house and living with damp clothes getting stinky piling up all over my radiators I knew I had to go for this !! I'm so glad I did . With its low cost I know I can leave it on over night or while I'm at work and it won't cost me loads !! With my busy lifestyle and the ever changing British weather this heated airer is a must !!

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

Had been looking at this airer for ages and bought it in January 2012. I already have a small electric airer and it's been great, but obviously this 3 tier airer can hold a full wash load and dries the clothes very quickly. I cannot praise it enough.

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

I bought my heated clothes horse nearly 2 years ago and have just got rid of my tumble dryer as it was never used. I live in the Penines and sunny days are few and far between so this product has proved invaluable. I love the product so much I bought another for my son who lives in the equally wet heart of Wales!

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

I purchased this product around 3 years ago... I have 3 children and a husband, so I do loads and loads of washing! I have mine up in my dining room, up against a wall most of the time only using one side of it. It dries my clothes etc.. Brilliantly .. King sized bedding, jeans.. Shall I go on? I think if I stood in stores I could sell this item over and over!! Nothing to lose with the Lakeland guarantee !!

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

Hubby bought this for me whilst I was away. I can honestly say it is brilliant. It is switched on overnight and most things are dry the nest morning. Towels need a little longer but that is not a problem. I just wish I had got it earlier.

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

I have had this clothes airer for over two years. it is used almost every day. i have sons who play rugby or train almost every day lots of kits dry the next morning. plus towels. it also dries things not suitable for the tumbler. according to the fuel counter meter i got from the gas board it is 50% cheaper to use this than the tumble dryer for my laundry needs. I am sure it has probably paid for itself by now. i recommend it to every one.

Dry-Soon 3-Tier Heated Tower Airer

After reading the first few reviews I was looking forward to using this item. I found the only part of the washing that dried was the part in contact with the airer. Even small items like knickers didn't dry completely. Really don't know how people have dried full loads of washing over night! It took me 2 over night sessions with just t shirts & undies and I still finished them off in the tumble drier. I imagine for delicate items laid flat, it would work, but that would only dry 3 things at a time. :(

A note from the team: We're sorry the heated tower airer isn't working out for you. To aid drying we recommend layering clothes over the bars, but it is an airer and won't dry as quickly as a tumble dryer. It's covered by our unconditional guarantee and we'll be happy to put things right for you. We'll be in touch.
