Digital Luggage Scale

I got this a couple of months back and been using it a couple of times and it has been good but the clasp was stuck. Tried really hard to pull it out but couldn't. It happened once or twice before but could always find a way to force it out, eventually. Finally, had to cut off the strap of the clasp because I wouldn't be able to fly with that thing flapping about my bag, would I? I was dissapointed as I thought other than this problem, it would have been a good product.

Digital Luggage Scale

It was very disappointing that the batteries supplied did not last long enough to weigh our luggage for the return journey. This was the first time we had used the scale and it was switched off during our 2 week holiday, naturally we expected to be able to weigh our cases for our return home. However, the scale gave a low battery signal and failed to weigh our second case. This meant some guess work to make sure that both cases were under weight to avoid a repack at the airport.

Digital Luggage Scale

I bought this item just before going on holiday and didn't think to test it until the night before we travelled. When I came to use it, there was only one battery supplied instead of the required two. Fortunately I had a spare, because it was the same battery that I use in my cookery scales. I then found that it was impossible to open the clasp in order to place it around the handle of the case. My husband also tried, but it just wouldn't budge. Eventually, we tied it to the case handle with a strap, which gave us a reading. I can see that it should work in principle, but I am very, very disappointed with this faulty item.

Digital Luggage Scale

I currently work in Africa and I need to take all of my food with me on trips, this scale is so good that I can put as much food in my cases and I don't need to worry about excess baggage charges. Thanks again Lakeland.

Digital Luggage Scale

It's lightweight (unlike my old one!) compact and accurate. As the lad at the check in desk at Calgary airport said "You guys sure know how to pack!". Had to replace the batteries quickly, but that was because it had got turned on while it was in my hand luggage, I should have kept it protected in it's blister pack or laid it on the top to stop the 'on' button being pressed. Apart from that I can't fault it. Even my husband who had said "why you buying a different one? we've got one already" admitted that it was the best 20 quid we've ever spent.

Before buying this we used to use the bathroom scales to weigh suitcases, this is so much easier and a lot more reliable and I even packed it in my hand luggage so I could use it on the return trip, fantastic.

Digital Luggage Scale

I have been using this item 4 or 5 times a year whenever I travel by air. It is extremely accurate and you can trust it within a few grams either way when matching it to the check-in scales at the airport. Simple to use and very easy to read. It can save you ££££ in excess baggage charges.

Digital Luggage Scale

Definitely better than trying to balance your suitcases on the bathroom scales, which is what we were doing before we purchased this. It is very easy to use and gave us peace of mind when going on holiday!

Digital Luggage Scale

this has been such a good investment, I have recommended it too so many people, and it has made life so much easier for when you are travelling, it was well worth the money!
