Pack-Mate® Original Roll Bags

I have purchased these before and the medium and small bags are ideal for packing clothes when on a motorbike trip. Even my partner with 20yrs motorbike trips under his belt now insists on these for the trips. When you have a small sports bike that won't take large storage bags these bags are ideal and can be used in most panniers and tail luggage bags. Just a word of warning, you forget how heavy it all gets when you can get so much in the bags, brill for us girls though! The large bags always get used for general holiday packing so a good all-rounder for me. Well worth the buy.

Pack-Mate® Original Roll Bags

I have used these since you first stocked them. I am moving everything out of the very large vaccuum bags, as they are too big and heavy for me to handle. I have had only one failure in use, when the strip came apart, over many years and a lot of bags. They even survive the freezer. I have also used them when travelling and found that a quick wash of the seal works to get them going again (just ub with a tiny bit),did have to use a nail brus when they were left open in a sand storm. I do find them difficult to roll, so I sit on them, it works fine,effect is a bit like a whoopy cush

Pack-Mate® Original Roll Bags

I purchased these to use with my rucksack on a three week tour of Chile\Argentina. They worked initially but after only two or three uses they wouldn't seal and kept re-inflating, the plastic clip also kept coming off and they become more of a hindrence than a help. Very disappointed, wouldn't recommend.

Pack-Mate® Original Roll Bags

I bought two sets of these bags a year ago and have used them many times. They're great for reducing the volume of your luggage. I'm the sort of person who packs my stuff in plastic bags inside my case anyway. But - a few points: you can end up with a heavy bag as you've crammed so much more in; if you are moving from place to place on holiday it's a bit of a drag having to refold everything to put it back in the roll-bags (fine if you're staying in one destination though). The other thing is, your bag is as full as it can be and you won't be able to cram it down any more to fit in those holiday purchases! I have found that a couple of the bags have now lost their airtightness and don't stay reduced; also it's quite easy to damage the seal as it's possible to pull the wrong bit when opening them. But they're worth having if you need to take a lot of stuff in a small bag - excellent for lightweight bulky things like fleeces.

Pack-Mate® Original Roll Bags

These bags seem a great idea to store my pillows in so they would take up less space and be protected. However they slowly re-inflate after a few days despite checking the seals over and over again. I had no problems with the white clip and the instructions seem easy to use. Very disappointed in this product and would not recommend them.

Pack-Mate® Original Roll Bags

Had been using these to store winter jumpers and with a daughter off to uni and seeing the amount of clothes she wanted to take I got them out and the whole bed that had been covered with clothes disappeared into one large suitcase. Fantastic. They do need to be properly closed and checked before trying to get air out.

Pack-Mate® Original Roll Bags

I bought several of these for storing baby clothes in the attic. They were very difficult to deflate, the white clip kept coming off, the seal kept popping open, and when we pulled them out of the attic some weeks later they had all lost their vacuum effect.
