Smart String Mop

Having spent £'s over the years looking for a mop that does the job, wont disintegrate or tear or leave excess water etc I bought one of these mops by chance. I really challenge mops in my doggy house with its non slip ceramic tiles. The result exceeds my expectations on every level. Not only does this mop effectively clean all my floor surfaces it leaves them with no excess water. I've even used it on wall tiles. I'm so impressed that I'm buying several for family members as part of their Christmas presents. (I did the same years ago when I was the first to discover microfiber cloths)

Smart String Mop

The mop head is far too small and continuously scratches whilst using. Started to try and mop the kitchen floor with it and quickly reverted back to my old style cotton mop. Still haven't found a mop that works as well as the cotton type. Unfortunately I cannot use the handle either as it does not fit the cotton mops so both parts are resigned to the scrap heap!

Really good mop, have marble floors and cleans to a shine. highly recommended and washable too when it gets dirty.

Smart String Mop

It has a good long handle - handy if you are tall (or a man like me!). It does clean the floor, but let's be honest it's not really massively different from any other mop - don't expect miracles. Also be careful as mentioned by others the plastic can scratch things.

Smart String Mop

I have had this a while now and have to say I think its great, I love the fact that you can wash it in the machine and it comes out like new! Left my floors much dryer than other mpps I have had.

Smart String Mop

Having read the reviews I felt confident that this mop would be a good buy. However, I am very disappointed with the mop. Yes, it doesn't require any detergent to get the floor clean and the telescopic handle is fine, the floor does dry quickly, but the microfleece mop head when wet, does not provide enough substance and the plastic part that the fibres attach to scratch against the floor, which is really annoying. I have kept the mop and I lightly skim it over my floor to dry it. This would definately not be a good buy if you had a nice wooden floor, luckily mine is ceramic so no damage. Sorry Lakeland I am usually pleased with your goods.

Smart String Mop

bought this mop about a year ago now. About fivemonths ago I bought a replacement head for when it inevitabily wore out. Here we are then a year later and the new mop head is still in its wrapper and the original mop still looks as good as new. A really good quality item. I use it regularly and hope you continue to stock them. You never know in twenty years I may need to buy another.

Smart String Mop

Wow, not only did I spend over £9 for a mop... but I love it and don't regret a single pound spent! Sometimes I pretend that I don't have to mop our farmhouse floor every single day but now that the baby is crawling I am forced to dwell in reality. I've gone through countless less-expensive mops and not only did they fall apart but they also never worked well in the first place. And they turned black and nasty too. Ugh! This mop works great and can be machine washed. It is the Mop of Mops and worth every pence!

Smart String Mop

I bought this mop its is great for cleaning properly and i even use it to swish away the dust sometimes. Only observation is it can be heavy tolift as it absorbs a lot of water - I only mention this because I tried to mop the bathroom tiled walls with it. I think I need something else.
