“Disappointed in quality

Turquoise Flexible Laundry Basket
Had my basket for only a couple of years and handle has broken. It's not one of the cheaper baskets that are available from other places, so I would have expected this to last longer than it has done really. Overall I think I will buy a cheaper one next time, very disappointing.

“Remarkably useful

Turquoise Flexible Laundry Basket
I had not realised how much easier a "flexible" container is to carry and move around. I bought this rather on a whim, and am extremely pleased with it. No sign of wear even after a year.

“fantastic at first but not so long lasting

Turquoise Flexible Laundry Basket
I have purchased 2 of these baskets and have also left a review stating how fantastic they are. I now feel compelled to write an additional review as they have not lasted as long as I expected them to. I have had them over a year and they have both split on the bottom. I still rate them as excellent washing baskets but I feel at over £10 each they should be a little more hard-wearing.

“Fantastic, brilliant, highly recommended

I was unsure whether to buy this product after reading some of these reviews, but I am so glad I did. I bought 3 short ones to carry laundry around and one big one as a permanent laundry basket upstairs. Unlike other baskets that are rectangular and need two hands, these can be carried in one hand - essential if you are using your other arm to carry a small child! I have owned mine now for 1 1/2 years and they are as good as the day I bought them. No issues whatsoever - and with two small children in the house we get through a lot of washing. 10/10

“laundry basket handles

Turquoise Flexible Laundry Basket
Just read the reviews on this as I have had mine for a while but suddenly the handles have cracked! One is completely gone and the other is looking poorly. Don't want to ordervanother if this is going to happen again. Rest of the basket is in excellent condition.

“Brilliant idea, poor life span!

Turquoise Flexible Laundry Basket
I have three of these and initially was really pleased with them...I could carry a baby in one arm and the washing in the other. However, I've had them a couple of years now and two of them have fallen apart - sides have split and handles come away. My £3 version that is over 10year old soldiers on...

“Great baskets

Turquoise Flexible Laundry Basket
I have got 3 of these baskets and have found them brilliant - easy to carry and hold a lot of washing. I have had them for a while now but the only problem is that the handles have broken on 2 of them and on the other it is starting to crack so it will not be long before that one is broken aswell. So this has put me off buying any more as replacements and giving a 5 star review

“Light but handles a disaster

It is light and flexible so great for carrying a pile of wet washing to the line, and perhaps squeezing past half open doors. However the handles are a nightmare - fairly soon the hard plastic handles fell off, so I persevered with the remaining thin handles - however these have now snapped.

Turquoise Flexible Laundry Basket
Have loved this basket since I first got it, however I have just noticed that the basket is splitting either sides of the handles. Such a disappointment, as I can't fault it otherwise and hoped it would last many years.

“Not a good buy

Turquoise Flexible Laundry Basket
I brought this laundry basket a few months ago. After only a few weeks, the plastic handles and come off and now the handles have both cracked, so unusable now. For a laundry basket to hold a fair amount of weight with wet clothes, not a good buy.

“Great idea, let down by the handles.

Turquoise Flexible Laundry Basket
I purchased this item as it looked ideal for doing the laundry and would assist greatly with getting my washing to the machine but after only one day the handles have came away and that is without having much laundry in it. Overall the idea and design are excellent and would work perfectly for me but to find that the handles are already cracking and coming away after one day is disappointing. Apart from the problem with the handles it is a great product and has made doing the laundry a lot easier.

“Generally good product

This product can hold a fair amount of washing & is great for houses with narrow staircases/hallways. My only criticism is that the handle cracked & broke on one side which is putting me off getting another. Have not found a similar one which will be as handy for carrying through our narrow stairway.

Like most other negative comments about this item: it's the handles!! Only had it a few weeks and already the protective cover has come off and won't snap back on. Also find it cumbersome and awkward to carry when full - will be replacing with a traditional one

I've had one of these for a couple of years now. Sadly it has split down one side (hence the 4 star). But I am still ordering another to replace it as it makes things so much easier!

after buying cheap laundry baskets and them all breaking, we decided to spend a little more and buy this. we have had it a few months now and it is still like new. a fantastic buy.

“Disappointing!

I loved this neat laundry basket at first as it was much easier to carry around than a conventional flat basket. However, after two years, one handle has broken completely, the other is nearly as bad and there is a split along one side seam. It is unusable and not fit for purpose. This was not a good buy at all. My ancient, conventional basket has had to be brought out of retirement - thank goodness I didn't throw it away!!!

“Great Product

Turquoise Flexible Laundry Basket
Having had a cheap but rigid washing basket for many years I was attracted by the promised flexibility of this basket. Even though I thought it was a bit pricey I decided to give it a try. I ordered the turquoise basket which is really more blue than turquoise which I prefer and I love it. It has a good capacity and is easy to carry and store. I've only had it for a few weeks but so far the handles seem good and strong. I'd recommend this as good value for money.

“basket with a differences

I had the washing basket given to me when my son was born a couple of years ago with lots of baby items in it .It was brought so i would be able to use it afterwards as a toy basket as it was blue and went very well with the baby's room the only problem is that the handles have split so doesn't quite look the same with tape around them also very useful for baby's dirty washing when he was first born.

I bought two of these and was very happy to begin with. However a handle has broken off one of them and the plastic is splitting on the actual basket. Very disapointing

Turquoise Flexible Laundry Basket
I like some other people have a laundry basket with split handles - in fact one has come off completely! Would definitely not recommend, unlike many Lakeland products I have bought over the years.
