Like Christine, I was surprised when I saw the size of this basket (in store) thinking 'this won't fit on my stairs- it's too big' but having seen it first online and deciding that it was exactly what I needed to de-clutter that area where everything is left on entering the house.. I was very pleasantly surprised, as it fits perfectly and it is lovely and deep and holds quite a bit. No more clutter to step over!!!! Would certainly recommend this highly functional basket as when you are ready to go upstairs - you just take it all with you in one go.

This has been on my 'most wanted' list for a long time and I just wish I'd bought one sooner. It's well made and stylish but, above all, functional and I'm now celebrating my clutter-free staircase!

The size of the basket took me by surprise when I unpacked it from the box - it's bigger than it looks in the picture online, but in a good way. I find it unobtrusive on the stairs and it holds quite a lot of clutter between trips. With a toddler in the house, I seem to spend my days running up and down the stairs with toddler in tow so I welcome any innovation that will save my legs and my patience. As the website says, it's nicely weighted and will stand up even on a level surface. The only downside, is I can feel my favourite jeans getting tight around the waist!
