We have been living in a very old,thatched cottage for two years now and have been using these moisture traps and crystals for eighteen months.We wouldn't be without them now,as they absorb a suprising amount of water , over a period of time and depending on the season.It has got rid of the damp musty smell and the firnishings,curtains and bedding no longer have that cold,slightly damp feel.It does take time for moisture to build up......so be patient! If it's in the air these WILL absorb it.The best we have tried.Thank you Lakeland.

We have these in all our bedroom windows and the amount of moisture they collect is unbelivable. They don't totally collect all the moisture but they certainly go a long way to improving our window ledges.

Massive fan of these, bought them with pretty low expectations, and went for the moisture trap because it was the best-looking out of all the options and didn't need to be put in the microwave. Can't believe the difference it has made to my bedroom. When I'd used all of the crystals included with the trap I bought this refill bag and was expecting the same sort of size as before, but was pleasantly surprised by how much you get for the price and how long they last. It's incredible to see just how much water ends up in the blue reservoir!
