A must for belfast/ceramic sinks”
I bought this and Bar tenders friend(BTF). I have a ceramic sink that I have tried all the conventional things to clean it including other cream cleaners, and even abrasive pads! I was thinking of buying a new sink, but then some internet research threw up this and BTF as a possible solution. Neither were particularly expensive, so I bought both and did one half of the sink with each. Et voila. Hallelujah! I now have a sparkling clean ceramic sink. I found BTF superior, but Astonish is easier to use. My only criticism is that Lakeland staff do not know that these products are great for such sinks.

Hurrah, it's back!”
by Linda Davis
Fantastic all round; easy to use, with very little effort to clean a ceramic hob or limescale-marked stainless steel sink unit. Our cleaner has searched high and low for this as the orange one did not work nearly as well. Thank you for getting it back, and at such a low price!

Not just for ovens!”
by Ms Ingham
I've been a fan of Astonish for cleaning my oven, hob and le Creuset casseroles for many years and today found a new use for this wonderful stuff. A can of foaming cleaner was left on the edge of the tray in the shower cubicle. Needless to say, it left a horrible brown rust stain. I tried various bathroom cleaners and bleaches which hardly made a difference. I then decided to give the Astonish a go (couldn't make it look any worse). After a few seconds of gentle rubbing the stain has gone! I'm now going to try it on a rust stain on our uPVC window sill...

Old ideas are the best....”
I was 'Astonish'ed at this product, not only because it did its job perfectly but because I am old enough to remember a product called 'Gumption' in the 1940s, a bathroom cleaner which worked a treat on our old tin bath and other areas. This near replica shows all the assets of its forerunner which should never have gone out of production!

The most marvelous product I've ever found!”
What more can I say. Hobs, sinks, pots & pans, garden furniture, and so much more. Use on really tough jobs with the Wash Up Whiz for superb results. One pot lasts for ages, and such a good price to. Just get it and see for yourself.

I'm amazed at how well this works!! My bathroom and sink taps are sparkling and look brand new! It works so well on stainless steel. It's so cheap as well, much better than well known brands that costs up to 3 times as much. I'll always use this now!

I bought this initially to get rid of burn marks on one of my stainless steel saucepans. I've been trying to get rid of these marks for a LONG time. Astonish Oven & Cookware cleaner made these history in under a minute. Every so often a product comes along which really does do what it says on the tin (or tub) and this is one of them. Incredibly good value, no unpleasant smells and I'll now be using it to tackle my oven, sink and everything else that has unsightly marks on it in my house.

Amazing results on a hard water stained plastic bath, and stainless steel sink! Highly recommended.

This review is for an older version of this product
Brilliant at cleaning and recommend it, but both pots I bought dried out very quickly even though the lid was on properly, hence only 3 stars.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. I'm glad we were able to resolve this matter over the phone.
After using a deep fat fryer, this product was excellent for cleaning the kitchen. Not only for the hob and cupboards but it cut through the grease without too much work. The price is outstanding for the size of tub - especially when a little goes a long way ! I definitely buy again..

This is the best cleaning product I have found, just amazing at removing all kinds of stains easily and not chemically to use. Just great!

I am putting this is in my basket because the tub I bought 4 or 5 years ago is running low! Admittedly I only really use it for cleaning my white kitchen sink, but that's still amazing value.

Fab for stainless steel extractor fan”
by Mrs Jones
Wow - what FANTASTIC stuff! Although this paste had rescued a well-used, slightly yellow toilet seat before and brought it up like new (and brilliantly white!), I had not thought of using it on my large stainless steel extractor fan before. After all the Christmas cooking excesses, though, it really needed a clean and the build-up of fat shifting - and the Astonish paste came up trumps, where so many other cleaners have failed. It shifted virtually effortlessly, in combination with a micro-fibre cloth, the caked-on grease, and my cooker-hood is shiny and looks like brand-new again! Highly recommended!!!

No-one likes cleaning ovens!”
by Marianne Rolfe
I love this product! I hate cleaning ovens, so when I decided the time had come (3 years after buying it!) I got out my Astonish as I do not like using harsh or abrasive cleaners (I have a 2 year old and 2 cats). It works brilliantly on the glass doors and inside the oven. I amazed myself with how effective this cleaner was. I would not hesitate to recommend this.

Just brilliant for burnt on stuff”
by Ms Frith-Macdonald
You know how pans get those brown marks on the outside - where fat went over the edge and especially if you use gas, it's cooked on before you'd even got the pan off the cooker and to the sink at the end of cooking? This is the stuff. I thought my old stainless steel hob was probably past redemption, with the stuff that gets burnt on just around the rings unless you're much more conscientious than I am. Well, I wouldn't say that was an entirely effortless clean up, but it wouldn't have been possible at all with most other cleaning products on the market. This and an old toothbrush will see you a long way on most hard surfaces. I wouldn't try it on the inside of my oven though - it is abrasive, after all.

I don't usually write reviews of cleaning products! I bought a tub of this to try and remove the four year-old brown burn marks round the most-used ring of my white enamelled gas hob. No previous cleaners I tried had been able to remove them. I put some paste on a nylon sponge and rubbed - and I could not believe my eyes as the brown staining disappeared. I had to use quite a bit of elbow grease and repeated blobs of the paste for the burnt-on bits, but I now have a pristine white hob. Definitely recommend. I'm going to try it on my cast-iron pans next!

My sink is now a mirror!”
by Mr Spence
I scrubbed our nasty kitchen sink with this goop and now I can fix my hair in the reflection. Yeah, it's that good. And I didn't even have to scrub hard! Need I say more?

I bought this to clean my Aga, it does a great job of that but I found myself reaching for it in a last ditch attempt to rid my cream coloured granite worktop of stains from tea, rust and marks left by old style aluminium saucepans. This stuff made complete mincemeat of marks that have had me in a state since we got our kitchen (nearly two years ago). I urge you all to buy some now - it is so cheap and so completely brilliant, not to mention it contains no harmful ingredients and according to my husband is made from a by-product of bio-diesel production, it just gets better and better!

Nice shiny sinks!”
The only thing I have found to make my stainless stell sink nice and shiny again. I gets rid of all the water marks and smells divine! Might try it on the toilets now as suggested by another reviewer!
