“Very happy with purchase

I just bought this in Mar'08. The manufacturer must have improved the handle design as mine arrived with the handle ready-fixed on, and after experimenting lifting and putting down the crock, I can see no danger of the handles coming loose. It seemed tightly bound to the sides. I love this purchase, even my partner loves the look of it on the kitchen counter - definitely one of my best kitchen purchases ever.

This is a lovely item for the kitchen - looks attractive and sits firmly on the worktop. It is easy to clean and is odour free. The handle can work its way loose and I dont want to break this lovely item so i have got into the habit of always checking the handle before lifting it. It quickly gets full if you are a large family, however a bigger one wouldn't look as discreet. I have bought a few of these as presents as I am that pleased with it.

“No smells or fruit flies

Fantastic - much better than previous caddies I have owned. I will be carefull with the handle/lid ! I went away for a week and the family "forgot" to empty it - no nasty smells , brilliant, and very easy to wash up too.
