Far easier to use than a box grater. Cut cheese into pieces that can fit into the unit. Apply pressure with one hand whilst rotating the blade with the other hand. If you angle the unit you can control where the grated cheese falls. To remove blades, simply press the release button and fold the handle inside the blade circle and push the blade out. The blade can be inserted from left or right side. If using a softer cheese like cheddar, work quickly as it gets harder to grate the cheese as it warms up and softens, or simply freeze the cheddar first to make it easier to grate in the unit.
