Lakeland PushPan Loose Based 23cm Fluted Flan Tin
Product number: 19694
At last a product that gives you all the reassurance of baking in a solid ceramic flan dish with the ease of serving that comes from using a loose-bottomed pan, tin or ring. With this PushPan Fluted Flan Tin you can fill your flans with confidence – even if the pastry’s not completely perfect – thanks to the integrated silicone seal around the base. And your creation will slide smoothly off the base for easy serving when it’s done.
With fluted edges to give your quiches, tarts and flans the classic look, this quiche tin is aluminium which means it’s lightweight and easy to handle but it also gives the best possible heat distribution for a perfectly even crust.
Why not test your new flan tin with a recipe from our blog?

About PushPan Flan Tins
Leakproof – PushPans are the only loose-based flan tins we have ever come across that are completely leakproof, thanks to the silicone seal around the rim of the base. This patented design allows you to push any flan, tart or quiche out of your tin with ease for perfect presentation every time.
High-Performance – Made from heavy gauge, silver anodised aluminium, PushPans offer even heat distribution with no hotspots, are oven safe to 230°C, freezer safe and metal utensil-friendly.
How They Work – Before first use, wash and dry your flan tin, coat the inside and the base with a small amount of cooking oil and then push in the base. This will help when you push the base up and also make your tin extra non-stick. With use, the pan will build up a patina which enhances the natural non-stick even further. To release your flan, quiche or tart once made, just place the pan on a wide tin from your cupboard, push down on the sides of your PushPan and then slide your creation carefully from the base onto your serving plate.

This is very good, deeper than the other I have so therefore makes a better quiche
These pans do as they say and produce the perfect flan every time. No more struggling to remove the flan case. Nice and deep so no spills and plenty of filling.
So disappointed. I bought this from the Chester store, I wish I had read the other reviews first. My beautiful apple pie was totally ruined as it was impossible to get the pie out of the tin, the seal is far too tight. Does anyone actually test these products before they are put on sale?
Thank you for your review. We're sorry you were disappointed with your first use. We'd recommend removing the base when washing in warm soapy water before you use, grease the inside of the pan then place the base back inside. Grease the base once in place. This will help make it easier to removed the baked pie after baking and cooled. We do hope your next pie is more successful.
Whilst my quiche cooked beautifully it was extremely hard to push out after cooking. The description says it 'pushes out with ease'. This is definitely not so. It took me about 15 minutes and I ended up forcing the bottom up with another kitchen implement to release the quiche. I will definitely not be using this tin again - it is not fit for purpose. I will return to using a flan ring on a baked nag tray.
Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry to hear it didn't suit and we'll be in touch to help. We've found it helps to allow the flan to cool slightly, then set it on a tin and push the sides down.
