great product” by Heather
I was a little dubious after reading some of the reviews on here about this set of pans. I am so glad I decided to give them a try!! I placed parchment paper in the bottom & had no issues whatsoever. 5egg Victoria sponge recipe was perfect (200g in each) can't wait to use them again !
worked a treat” by Irene
Wary after reading some reviews, sceptical when tins arrived (they do seem small!). But I went ahead anyway as I needed to bake cake for daughters 15th birthday. Made the cakes with a 4 egg Victoria sponge recipe, 200g in each tin. Rainbow Wilton colours 10/10. Lined with a disc of baking parchment just in case (as others said they stuck), buttercream between each layer, covered in fondant icing, multi-coloured spots and '15s' = 1 very happy teenager, delighted when she cut into it. Loads of cake for everyone, as each slice halved. Lots of Facebook likes and comments about great cake.
Does what it says on the box” by Pauline
After reading all the reviews, I was a bit wary but really wanted to give them a try. My goal was to make a birthday cake for my 2 yr old granddaughter with 5 different shades of pink. It worked really well and had lots of compliments on the cake.I used a 4 large egg victoria sponge recipe. I think i put about 200g of mixture in each tin (yes, I am a bit OCD) so could perhaps get away with a little less next time but quite often these things are trial and error. Covered with fondant which was quite difficult as the cake was very tall. All in all, good buy!
