Great Tins Make it much easier to make” by Debby
I bought these pans as I fancied making a rainbow cake, I got the recipe of the internet and on my first go didn't fill the tins enough so the cake came out quite flat and a bit odd so chucked that and had a second go. This time lined the tins with baking paper so they didn't stick, filled them with more batter and they rose brilliantly sliced the rise off whilst they were still in the tins and got 5 perfect layers. When completed the cake was a good 5-6 inches tall and was perfect. Love these tins a large version would be much appreciated tho as i have a party of 20 the make a cake for and i

After contacting the team to check suitability, I purchased these tins for making larger Yorkshire puddings. Was a bit concerned that they didn't look very deep but they gave excellent results. Will be trying them for cakes as well.

Really pleased with these cake tins. I lined them with baking parchment first. I used a 2 egg victoria sponge mix for 3 tins and a 2 egg chocolate victoria mix for the other 2 tins (with a bit left over for some cupcakes). I weighed 5 oz of mixture into each tin and cooked them at 160 (Fan) for 18 minutes. Perfect results with buttercream between each layer. Topped with chocolate, it looks great. The cake is tall and slim so looks fabulous!
