I was fed up of buying a new fryer every couple of years due to the temperatures rubbing off. I don't fry often so that was a pain. I decided to splash out on this. It is expensive and bearing Heston's name probably raised the price considerably. It is good, I have used it to make pakoras and spring rolls. The only thing I have to watch is to not get food stuck on the element. I think I would have preferred this covered. I like it,but the jury is out on whether it is worth the cost.
