This pan cooked my porridge to perfection and the gentle heat of a double boiler and great non-stick finish meant clean-up was a breeze. I am now thinking how great it will be for custards, rice pudding and sauces at Christmas. The only downside was that porridge did take longer to cook this way which I mitigated against by putting the oats to soak in the pan overnight so they were already soft and easy to cook in the morning..
