First batch slipped out like a slippery thing on a slippery slope - just like government policy. Subsequent batches, however, stuck to the sides of these like mud to a disgraced political advisor. I thought if it works for a loaf tin, it'll work for a crumpet ring so seasoned them. Hey presto - the last batch fell out like like a former prime minister and his chancellor of the exchequer. The supplied recipe is spot on producing tasty, fresh crumpets much better than shop-bought ones. Who needs a burger press with these in the top drawer?
