mini chips kit.” by Maureen
I bought this with the intention of making crisps with no fat. The small mandolin cut the potato very thin which was great but unfortunately most were half a circle but not too worried. My microwave is only 800watt so it took 7minutes to cook. However I was pleased with the taste once I had put salt and Worcester sauce on (my taste!)and I think the idea is great. I am thinking now though of getting either a peeler or mandolin which would include julienne, but will definitely use the trays again
I'd like to add that....” by Ms Button
As with other reviewers the 'chips' were less 'chip-like' and more 'soggy mess like'. Despite following the instructions. Also the end products were definitely mini - I hadn't realised just how mini they would end up!

Frustrating!!!” by Susan
I purchased this item last Friday and spent a good part of Sunday attempting to make veg and apple chips. I am assuming by 'chips' the finished article is meant to be crispy but after following all instructions...use the mandolin to slice, dry the produce before cooking, etc....they were all unsuccessful. My microwave oven is 100 watts lower than that stated in the instructions so I increased the time in 10 second intervals, until I had doubled the timings stated. The results were dehydrated, soggy looking articles without a hint of 'chip' about them, so disappointing.
