I would prefer deeper for casseroles or liquid items which is why i have rated 4 , but great for family shepherds pies or pastry especially if travelling with them

Good sturdy product. The lids fit and seal well. Not sure about heating things up in the oven when you need to leave the lid on for the first 30 mins, as it starts to emit a strong cardboard smell, so I’ve been removing the lid and using tin foil, which somewhat negates the convenience.

Like many other reviewers, I'm Very disappointed in the new size of the largest casserole dish - I use these for doing roasts when sailing, and they're simply too small and too shallow to fit a joint of meat with all vegetables, as I've been doing for years

Excellent quality casserole dishes. Perfect for batch cooking & freezing. Large enough to feed a family. I use mine straight from the freezer into the oven for shepherds pie, cannelloni etc.

... for freezer meals for the new parents in our family. These foil dishes fit their smallest of freezers perfectly but contain enough for a hearty meal, they are also stronger and more rigid than others I have bought elsewhere. Vegetable & lentil cottage pie is particularly welcome!
