I have only had this a week I bought this one for home and the next size down as a present for my Mother. We used them over the weekend, the smaller one is fine but the bigger one after 2 hrs (ish) on high spits onto the service ( very messy) and the lid rattles. I have tried cooking with a lot in as in a casserole over two thirds full and a chicken with 4 inches of stock,in both cases water runs down into the base where one of the screw is starting to go rusty. The smaller one is fine! The end result is good the food is cooked very well, tasty and moist.
A note from the team
We're sorry to hear you've has a couple of niggles with your slow cooker and will do our best to help. This slow cooker has a working capacity of 4.3 litres to allow for bubbling and simmering so it's important that the ceramic pot is not too overloaded. It's best to start on the low setting then turn the heat to high in the last 15 minutes. Adding flour or cornflour at this stage will enable you to thicken the gravy if preferred. We hope these tips help and will be in touch soon.
