We love making our own sausage muffins so this worked great for us. Egg slipped out easily so could flip over as we like the top done.
Whether you grease inside the ring, or not, as the egg drops in it travels under the ring which is supposed to contain it! If I could give no stars I would!
Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that this hasn’t worked well for you. To ensure it works correctly you need to heat the pan before you put the rings in and then drop the eggs in. We’ve been in touch to offer a refund.
I bought this so that I could make my fried eggs more presentable especially when putting them in muffins. However, despite using a very level frying pan and ensuring the oil is hot before putting the eggs in them, there is still some leakage from the edges of the ring
Thank you for placing your review on the silicone egg rings. We're sorry to hear this is happening -some pans develop a risen centre over time. Oil the inside rim of ring and place into a cold or slightly warmed pan. Add a tiny spot of oil into ring and then tip in egg gently. Cook on low heat, with a lid if possible.
The basic idea of these egg rings is good in theory, but I find that the eggwhite leaks out from base of the ring,so I might just as well not use them.
We’re very sorry to hear this and will be in touch shortly to arrange a refund As stated previously the ring should have good contact with the base of the pan first, then add a little oil into the ring and then the egg. Cook over a low heat.
