Reading ALL the previous reviews I too was nervous. However, I made my purchase determined to bake a Dinosaur cake for one of my grandsons. I greased the tin, lining it with strips of parchment paper. Making a 5 egg recipe mix, I placed the hemisphere tin on a 6" sandwich tin. Oven set at 150 degrees, baked for 2 hours testing after 1hour 30 mins. I covered the cake with double parchment paper at 1 hour. After cooling the cake slightly it slid out of the tin perfectly. I think that it was browner than my usual sponges but any less baking time would not have cooked the cake through properly.
