It’s so easy to bake, build and decorate your own flat-pack property – just follow the gingerbread recipe and use each of the 12 cutters to stamp out walls, roof, tree, a snowman and his gingerbread friends. Mix some icing sugar to ‘cement’ the house together then bring your cookie cottage to life with your favourite sweeties and perhaps a dusting of icing sugar snow… edible architecture at it’s most magical!

I was really pleased to see a cutter set and at a good price too. I made the recipe on the box but I added 200g more flour as it was really sticky. We decided to make a haunted house for halloween so the dark treacle gingerbread worked a treat and we dripped blood red and slimy green icing over the roof topped with jelly ghost sweets. Finally the gingerbread men turned skeleton and I used the chimney bits to make tomb stones. Roll on Christmas for a more traditional version.

“Fantastic value

This is a brilliant set of cutters. Not the strongest and I did need to trim the biscuits slightly as some edges spread while baking. I followed the recipe on the back of the box & had a nice hard gingerbread. I'm not sure how it is to eat as I made mine for decoration only. Tricky to put together but practice makes perfect!

“Easy to Follow
