Disappointed” by Mrs Valerie Jackson
The first time I used this it I was pleased it did what it said - the double silicone filter did its job and captured all the grounds. However, the filter no longer does its job and I find grounds coming through the pouring spout so I am filtering my coffee through the tea strainer. If you are prepared to buy coffee beans to make courser gounds then this will eliminate the problem but you should not have to do this. Its saving grace is the ladle which makes removing the grounds less of a chore. Unfortunately it does not live up to its description.
A note from the team: We're sorry that this product did not meet your expectations. Our buying team have advised coarse coffee must be used to achieve great results in the fresh press.
Dissapointing” by Matthew
Good design, poor execution, silicone lip does not make a tight enough seal letting coffee grounds around side. Not worth the extra money over its competitors. A slightly larger/ thicker silicone seal would potentially solve this problem and improve this product

disappointing” by Sylvia
I have tried several different grinds and no matter what I do coffee grounds still end up in my cup. I have had better results with an £8 supermarket pot.
