The first time I used this it I was pleased it did what it said - the double silicone filter did its job and captured all the grounds. However, the filter no longer does its job and I find grounds coming through the pouring spout so I am filtering my coffee through the tea strainer. If you are prepared to buy coffee beans to make courser gounds then this will eliminate the problem but you should not have to do this. Its saving grace is the ladle which makes removing the grounds less of a chore. Unfortunately it does not live up to its description.
