I intended to only use this occasionally, but i find it so easy to lift and clean that i use it all the time! I thought it was cast iron at first and so 'over-compensated' when i lifted it up and the lid nearly flew off! As i've learned, cast aluminium is a lot lighter than cast iron, but the thick walls help it to distribute the heat from the hob or in the oven evenly round the whole pan. The non-stick is great and cleans really easily, and i love the fact that i'll still be able to use it for a very long time (unlike my cast iron one!) I highly recommend this casserole.
