Churn & Chill Ice Cream Maker

Fantastic product - love the fact that the children can get involved and make their own ice cream and that it does exactly the same job as an electric one, without using any electricity!! Made 2 batches, probably could have got 3 batches out of it if we hadn't decided to taste test it after each go. The strawberry ice cream recipe was lovely and fruity, substituted raspberries for the 2nd batch - again lovely results. I work as a childminder and this is great for the children to learn about changing properties, would definitely recommend.

Churn & Chill Ice Cream Maker

What a fantastic thing!!! I was doubtful about it but after reading Lakelands guarantee I thought 'why not give it a go?' It is brilliant. My daughters helped to make the ice cream and it worked PERFECTLY! We made the most delicious strawberry ice cream and could make it just as we like it. I would recomend this ice cream maker to anyone. No electricity needed, it made the ice cream much quicker than the suggested time and infact we managed to make 3 batches! Really, really good.

Churn & Chill Ice Cream Maker

I bought this as it was compact (I only have a small amount of freezer-space) & the idea of it using no electricity appealed to me. It is a nice design but the handle does not feel very strong when in use. It is also rather fiddly to add ingredients using the wafer style funnel as they get stuck! When you try to sort out the blockage the mixture begins to freeze and the paddle gets stuck! I would have gone for a different design if I had known all this - for only a few pounds more.

A note from the team: We're sorry to hear this product has not met your expectations and will be in touch soon to help.
