I bought this pie make at the reduced price of £15 BEFORE I read the reviews. However, after picking up tips from previous reviewers I then made a fantastic batch of chicken in white sauce pies. Use machine from cold. Brush cold water round edges of the bottom mould. Put the 'pusher' in a plastic bag to stop it sticking to the pastry . I brushed the tops with a little beaten egg. I sprayed (very lightly) the top and bottom with cake release spray and spread it around with my finger. I then cooked for 17 mins (from cold) as recommended by a previous reviewer. - Result - Perfect Pies. LOVE IT!
