R-Evolution Cocktail Kit
If, as a child, you were told not to play with your food, these culinary kits will make you think again. Budding Hestons and those who enjoyed experimenting in the school chemistry lab will love this introduction to ‘molecular gastronomy’ – that’s the marriage of science and art in food prep to you and me.
In your very own kitchen, enter a new era of cooking and have a go at some of the most popular (and fun!) techniques of high-end chefs and Michelin-starred restaurants, but without the celebrity chef price tag – each kit comprises 50 sachets that transform your food, which works out at just 89p each. Change the textures of juices, sauces, creams and dressings; make beads of food that burst in the mouth, iced ‘airs’ and other such weird yet wonderful culinary creations.
With ingredients that are safe and simple to use, these kits make great gifts for anyone who leans towards a more experimental kind of cooking, but why not treat yourself and wow friends and family, give guests a taste of the unexpected and present dinner in a brand new way! Just follow the helpful DVDs included to add a wealth of new tricks and techniques to your repertoire.
The art of adventurous cocktails for ‘molecular mixologists’. How about mojito spheres served on a spoon, a screwdriver presented in layers, cocktails that foam in the glass, or even cola caviar in a cuba libre?
- 10 sachets each of soluble gelatine, sodium alginate, calcium lactate, soya lecithin and xanthan gum – 140g in total
- slotted spoon, 4 measuring spoons and 5 pipettes

waste of money” by Tracey
Thought this would be great fun, but only instructions are on a DVD which is hard to follow, especially if you don't have a DVD player in your kitchen. We've tried 3 recipes (each one more than once) so far without success and we are running out of the ingredients.
A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. I'm sorry you're struggling with the kit and I'll be in touch shortl;y to help.
spice up the party” by Magaly Megh
I bought this cocktail kit and did a few recipes to entertain when going to parties and it works great. Once you got it, you can even make up your own recipes. There's a printable pdf on the dvd if your computer's not in the kitchen ?!
Good fun” by Lucy
If you like cocktails & messing about in the kitchen this is a good buy. The DVD is pretty useless other than giving a brief overview of techniques, but the pdf (which you could print off) is much clearer & easier to follow. I've marked it down a star because not everything you need for the recipes shown is included e.g sphere mold, siphon, hand blender or syringe & tubes. Of course you can buy these things additionally & it's a good opportunity to cross sell but the manufacturer should make this clear
A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We've passed on your comments about the extra items needed to the buyer.
