Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

I agree with everyone that the machine makes lovely cake pops, however, the whole machine gets very, very hot, and in record time, however with excited children around this can cause them to get burnt fingers as the machine top, bottom, side all get hot very quickly, so beware.

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

Just made my first batch of pop cakes so quick and easy Much nicer than mixing in frosting when you make them with cake crumbs Can't wait for them to cool so I can decorate them

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

Brilliant little machine! I suspect that if you needed to make hundreds of pops this would take too long, but for smaller batches this is perfect. My 11 year old daughter loves to use this and it's simple and safe enough for her to use completely on her own. Now if Lakeland could invent a machine to help her clean up afterwards that would be fantastic!

Perfect cake pops every time!by Shirley

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

I asked for the cake pop maker for christmas. It is brilliant. Follow the instructions carefully and you get perfect yummy little cake pops every time! I use just a small teaspoon of mixture in each hole and it never over flows.I use a cocktail stick to lift each pop out of the maker and place onto a cooling tray lined with baking parchment to avoid the cake pops sinking through the wire cooling rack. I have decorated them with pretty much everything but my favorite (and all my friends) is with chocolate and sprinkled with edible glitter! They look amazing and taste devine!

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

I'm a 9 year old boy and I got this for my Christmas from my mum and dad. It's easy to use and quicker and safer than using the oven. You can also do it without your mum having to help so much. You can make 6 cake pops in 4 mins and I think that is really awesome. You do need to make sure that you buy cake pop sticks and the candy melts product for covering the cake pops as they are not included with the machine. I used the polystyrene that the machine was packed in, to hold my cake pops on sticks as they set!!!!

Love Love Love this Product!!by Miss Melanie King

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

Having managed a cupcake bakery in London where we made cake pops the crumbled cake and icing method, I was really excited to try this maker. I was given it as a gift this Christmas and my first batch are cooling now - I LOVE IT!! The 1st 6 cake balls were too small as I used too little mix (still tasty though!) but the next 6 just right. I used a piping bag to fill the holes and that worked really well for me. I didn't need to grease the holes at all - the vanilla recipe worked just great. I used a cocktail stick to remove the balls - really easy. I can't wait to finish these and try more!!

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

I got this as a present for my 8 yr daughter as a christmas present and we both love it. Really easy to use - thanks to the tips about using a piping bag - we've done cake pops and mini doughnuts. Wiped it with vegetable oil once before first use and have had no trouble with sticking. Altogether brilliant and I think really good value for money

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

I got this to bake with my kids. I had a great time making the mixture. We spooned it in, 4 minutes later we had perfect cake pops! Really looking forward to decorating them now! The reason for only 4 stars is there are no recipes for allergies, sweeteners which would make it perfect!

I was sceptical at first having seen pop makers that made more than 6 but this is perfect. They don't take much time and come out perfectly every time. Would recommend!

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

Eagerly awaiting its arrival in time for Christmas I was not disappointed. The instructions are clear and the recipe good. I used one of the low calorie sprays to oil the plates by rolling some cling film into a ball and spraying it one or two times then wiping this in and around the moulds. The cake balls came away very easily each time, which I removed with a cocktail stick, and I didn't need to oil ev

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

Found the popcake maker really simple and easy to use. Cooks in 4-5 mins. Simple to clean and easy to store. Easy enough for my daughter to use and make cakes for teachers at school. Cakes fab, though having difficulty waiting for them to cool before eating!

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

I used this to make some really successful cake pops, and it was so easy. The pops taste really light, and covered with melts (and sprinkled with gold) standing in a wine glass they make a really attractive centrepiece too. Tip: to make the pops stay on the sticks, you need to make a hole for the stick, dip the stick in the icing and then stick it back into the hole. Works perfectly - can't wait to make Christmas pudding cake pops next month!

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

I have just used my cake pop maker for the first time and I am thrilled with it. I was a little nervous at first but after the first batch it was so simple and they turned out perfectly. I used a wooden ice lolly stick to remove them and your brilliant Cake Release. I am using them as 'alternative' Christmas cards. Thank you for another wonderful product.

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

I loved the idea of this but was concerned with the reviews on ease of getting the pops out of the maker. I must have the knack, as they came out exactly as the video guide (which is excellent by the way, a must watch). First batch done, can't wait to try the next recipe. The kids can't keep their hands out of the container.

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

tried this machine last night I needed to make cake pops for halloween today, very easy to make I didn't need to grease the holes with the recipes provided theres enough fat in the mixture to make it non stick you just have to ease it out with something, this little something I didnt have so used a knife but very carefully! very pleased with my balls this was the first time so it got to be a mess plus I was tired i did overfill only to see what happened but nothing a pair of scissors coudn't handle, I would recommend this machine if you haven't time to do cake pop the U.S. method

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

I bought one of these with a view to making cakes for children (brownies/Rainbows) to decorate. The cakes are quite small and took longer to cook than advertised. They did not keep very well - need to be used on the day made for best results. The adults found them quite hard to decorate - the cakes moved on the sticks and we could not get the sugar to stock on the doughnuts! I had to abandon the plan. To add insult to injury, another retailer now sell a similar item (currently £16.99!) whicj makes 12 pops at a time and include the sticks and a base in the Kit. A good idea which does not really work

Very easy and no mess, which is more than can be said for the decorating! Thank you Lakeland - this will help raise lots of money I hope

Cake Pop Machine Reviewby Eleanor

Sweet Treats Cake Pop Maker

I bought the machine after loving the idea of cake pops but being unsure of the conventional way to make them with cake and butter cream as I believed they resembled a raw cake texture. I have used the machine 5 times now and each time the pops have been fantastic! I followed the advice of piping the mixture into the machine instead of using spoons and found this much neater. Overall, a fantastic product and I will deffinatly be reccomending it to friends!
