Fun and easy to use”
Bought this to make cakes with my 30 month old - 'my help my Granny'- grand-daughter. She loves baking with me but also loves eating what we make, so I bought the cake pop maker to try to reduce the amount eaten. It's worked, is very easy to use with quick results, right from the first batch we had perfect pops! We now half the mixture to make just a dozen. Our decoration hasn't moved on from a bit of icing and sprinkles but I'm sure that will come! One suggestion, Lakeland, is to stock re-useable plastic sticks. Kinder on the environment to be able to recycle as well as on the pocket!

Great fun for kids!”
by Becky Davis
I am a child myself who loves baking new things! I was looking through Lakeland and as soon as I saw this I knew this would make a great new idea for my cake stalls. I was amazed by how great this works! It makes PERFECT circular balls of cake and tastes delicious! They make a perfect treat. Thank you Lakeland for this amazing purchase!

This cake pop machine is amazING!!!!!! I am 12 years old and I love baking, my favourite thing to bake is definitely cake pops. Every time I have made cake pops they had been absolutely delicious and have looked really good. The actual cake itself is surprisingly moist. I have not 1 fault for my cake pop machine, it is amazing! I even made them gluten free for my grannie. I am now going to try and make some rabbit decorated cake pops. By the way, I would recommend buying a special presentation stand for the cake pops.

pop pop pop”
well what a fabulous item, I thoroughly enjoy baking and these are great little cakes for kids parties. my only problem with the machine is that I obviously missed in the description that the sticks are NOT included. Come on Lakeland I am sure you could have put 12 in to get us started!!

A note from the team: Thanks for taking the time to write your review. I'm sorry the sticks aren't included but can be bought separately, the reference number is 17659 for 50x10cm sticks or ref 15933 35x15cm sticks. I will be sure to pass on your comments about including some with the maker to get you started.

great little machine”
by Mrs Brown
My daughter was given this for her birthday and we set it up today to bake pops. It was very straightforward, but getting the right amount of mixture in the holes was tricky. Having read one other reviews I will try the piping bag option. It's a shame the plates don't pop out to clean them, but a fun piece of kit.

Half 'n' Half”
Well, I tried the pop-cake maker and I am sure it is a case of "practice makes perfect" but I get pop's that are half dark brown and half light brown. Not fully brown all over like in the video. Still, I will keep trying.

Great fun, but a little fiddly.”
Great fun, but it takes a few attempts to get it right, and it is a bit fiddly. Worth persevering though as when you've got it right, its great.

Highly recommend !”

I received the cake pop maker this morning and tried it out immediately and I was very impressed. It's so simple to use with wonderful results. I used the vanilla recipe in the back of the booklet and decorated the cooled cake pops with milk and white chocolate and once that was set I wrapped them in the little plastic bags with ribbons - they look wonderful! I'm going to make a batch and take them to playgroup for the children to decorate themselves. I wouldn't recommend a child using the machine as it obviously gets very hot but they will have such fun decorating them! :)

We love it!”
I bought this for my daughters birthday and she loved it. We used it on her birthday and they all came out great. I was surprised we got it right the first time around. This really is a good buy for children and I must admit for adults to. A great family fun product.

Cake Pop maker”
I have been a customer of Lakeland for many years and have always been more than happy with the products I have bought until the cake pop maker. I first made the doughnuts which did not cook through they were very doughy so I left them a little longer with my next batch going on the colour before removing but they still had a doughy texture. So I tried the vanilla recipe which only cooked one side so next batch I turned then but when they are cooked that little longer they go very hard when cooled. So I am sorry to say for the first time in 30 years I have been disappointed.

i really like this. i make cake pops often and it's a bit of a fad making the cake, breaking it up and remoulding. This was effortless and fun. The trick is not to overfill. I love it!

I love this !”
ive found this to be the perfect size machine with just the right amount of holes , it regulates the heat nicely and makes good sized cake pops. It's so easy to clean..it's a pleasure to use. i followed the handy video on this site and made sure i popped them in the fridge to set the sticks and had perfect results. i like to use cake mixes..and that works a treat too. everybody loves these pops and visitors want them bagged up to take home with them ! so ive been very busy but its so easy and fun to do...the hard bit is just trying to decide which of Lakelands lovely sprinkles to use next .

Success first time!”
Easy to use, worked perfectly first time. Used my usual sponge recipe, filled with quantity suggested, success!! This is going to be well used.

After trying to make pop cakes with a silicone tray, I wondered whether it was going to be possible to get lovely round cakes. However, this machine makes the perfect pop cake and it is so easy to use. Although it only bakes 6 pop cakes at one, they only take 4 minutes a batch so not a major problem. Definitely recommend this product

Two happy bunnies”
1st attempt today ... halved the reciped 125g (each of sugar, butter and flour) divided by 2 is 62.5g and my scales don't do halves so I had already thrown a spanner in the works. My daughter (3 1/2) and I are both lactose intolerant so we used soya marg and soya milk. My little one did the majority of the weighing and mixing so we lost a little of the flour in a sieving accident! Loading the machine was challenging while I kept one eye on her and one on the hot machine. All that said the cake pops worked like a dream, taste gorgeous and made the kitchen smell heavenly. Very very pleased x
