“Don't bother! Buy The Silicone Versions...

In short,these 'incredible not stick' poach pods are not 'non stick' at all. Both eggs were extremely difficult to remove from non oiled interior and were removed in pieces! Also, because these are metal they are heavier than the silicone versions (which we also own and think are great!) and with the weight of the egg inside them, we found both of ours sank to the bottom of the pan once a few splashes of the simmering water entered the pod. Also not as easily stored as the silicones. We will be returning these to the shop for a refund and will stick, (not literally!) to our silicone versions:)

“Waited years for something like this

I must say I was surprised by the previous reviewer's comments. I have had no problems at all releasing perfectly poached eggs. I bought one to try out and find the product excellent so am going to buy a couple more. I have never really liked silicone so a stainless steel one is a welcome improvement as far as I am concerned. I added butter once and cooked several eggs in a row without having to rebutter the bowl so not sure why the previous commentator had problems.

Not being a fan of "plastic" items in the kitchen I was really pleased to find these. The eggs were cooked to perfection and easy to remove. Like a previous reviewer I bought one to test it and I will be buying more.
