Better than ever!by Penny

5 stars out of 5

Panasonic Bread Maker

We have had several Panasonic Breadmakers throughout the years and this is the best yet. The adjustment to the recipes together with the new design has meant that the loaves are light and airy every time. The new memory function means that I don't have to reprogram the machine every time too.

Panasonic SD-2501by Mr Dumsday

4 stars out of 5

Panasonic Bread Maker

I replaced my worn out Panasonic SD206 which was used almost daily. The SD-2501 makes excelent bread and is easy to use, HOWEVER, the "bleep" is inaudible unless you are in the same room within a few feet. It is mush softer than its predecessor. With modern digital technology I am surprised that the makers don't incorporate a pre-setable "volume control"

Panasonic Bread Maker

Thank you Lakeland for replacing my previous breadmaker with the Panasonic. I can't begin to tell you what an improvement it is - much quieter, no huge holes, no over-heating and the bread is lovely! Your prices may not be the lowest but your customer service is second to none.

Great for gluten free breadby Susan

5 stars out of 5

Panasonic Bread Maker

I had never made bread before and could not believe I would get it right, even in a machine. The Lakeland ladies "help" gave me the courage to try - and my first attempt using an American gluten free recipe using 5 types of high protein flour (including chestnut - delicious!) and several eggs, turned out perfectly; all in 1 hour 55 minutes too (apart from measuring time.) Wonderful bread, medium light very even texture, easy to slice, quite filling so lasts longer and very nutritious. My 95 year old father loves it. Just going to make some more and try different recipes.

PANASONIC BREAD MAKER SD 2501by Mrs Webb

Panasonic Bread Maker

After only a few days use I love this machine. I use it overnight so our daytime activities are not disrupted. The bread is wholesome and tasty. I recommend this machine to anyone who dislikes supermarket bread. Mrs. Dorothy Webb

Panasonic Bread Machineby Marilyn Le Breton

4 stars out of 5

Panasonic Bread Maker

I bought this to replace my beloved Panasonic SD255 (sadly no longer made), which died a lingering death due to many years of daily baking perfect gluten free loaves. As this is the replacement model, I hoped it would be the same or better, alas my first few attempts at gluten free bread (same recipe as before)were not good. I've re-jigged the recipe and once again have a loaf fit to eat. It is a very quiet machine, as is the beeper that lets you know the bread is ready which I can't hear it unless I'm in the kitchen. Not the SD255 but as a Panasonic lots better than other machines.

The Brand and the by Barry

Panasonic Bread Maker

I have a (older) Panasonic SD-257. This looks even better. Not only did Panasonic have by far the best reviews for reliablity and quality of bread, but two Millers I spoke to also spoke very highly of Panasonic bread makers and were not so enamoured with some others! My neighbours bought one within days of tasting my breadmaker's fruit loaf. Yes, the alarm is just a gentle "bing". I read someone else's suggestion to use my cooker alarm. My big test was 100% Stone ground wholemeal org' bread, rises perfectly!
