Wooden Pastry Board

This is a very good board for the low price. I only bought it as I make my own bread every day and was fed up using work surface. The lettering is totally pointless as it cannot be read when board is floured. Also they fill up with flour and dough and are very difficult to clean properly, a certain health hazard. It is a shame to leave it one star as if board was smooth a definite five would be in order. When weather gets better I am going to sand it right down hoping depth of letters are not too deep. Make or break I guess. For anyone who doesn’t mind then it’s a snip at price.

This is so useful, I wish they were in the sale I would buy 4. I use it constantly to refer to for tin sizes-which of course takes a second, also for cutting out greasproof tin liners. The conversion chart is right in front of my eyes every time I bake and the measurement guides for pastry work perfectly. As for grains of flour etc sticking in the recessed lettering etc-nailbrush and warm water works perfectly and they are so minute anyhow. Cakes come straight from the oven onto the board, so a great worktop protector too. Very happy customer
