If you like your eggs poached in water but find your efforts are unpredictable, then give Poachets a go! A brilliant new invention from the UK and exclusive to Lakeland, they’re made from tea bag-like paper and keep the egg white contained, so you don’t get all the stringy bits, but allow contact with water.

Place the pouch open in a cup and crack in an egg, lift out pulling the top together, hold for a second in a pan of water that’s at a rolling boil, then place it in... the pouch magically closes, and after 6 minutes, your egg will be cooked to perfection. No fuss, no mess, no oiling or adding vinegar, eggs simply slide out onto your toast. The samples were all snapped up after Catalogue Production were shown them in use; we think they’re set to change the way we poach eggs forever!

Lakeland 20 Poachets

I love poached eggs but could never get them to come out properly. I bought every product to try but most either don't work, or are messy and leave egg white behind. UNTIL NOW. These poachets are fantastic. I have been making poached eggs for everyone who comes over. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Lakeland.

Bought in store last week, fantastic results first time, all the family had fun cooking their own breakfast with great results. It's so easy everyone should try them, the eggs taste delicious and look like a chef has made them.

Thank goodness someone has come up with a way to make the perfect poached egg every time! I've used these a few times now and have found them very helpful and there's no sticky mess. What a lovely product!
