best timer ever” by Monica slocombe
having tried a number of timers my husband finds this one really clear to read, and it rings for so long it reminds him his cooking is ready!! also he can take it with him elsewhere in the house, so he can watch his favourite TV programmes whilst he's waiting. highly recommended!!
Damaged out of the box” by Conor
I bought this timer today mainly because I always forget what time I put the cake into the oven but also because I saw it on the Great British Bake Off. As soon as I opened it the little clip/door that covers the battery was broken and would not clip into the timer. It works perfect otherwise, but I will be returning it as soon as I can. I was quite disappointed with this as I though it would of been great since it was "Salter". Another thing is that there is no button to turn it off?
A note from the team: We're sorry to hear you've experienced this problem Our store staff will be happy to help.
Excellent product” by Sylvia Doherty
This is the second time I have purchased this product as unfortunately I recently broke the one I bought a couple of years ago when I dropped it on a tiled floor. This is the best timer that I've ever owned - the numbers are easily read and the continuous beep can be heard for some distance. It would be good if it were possible to turn it off when not in use but, having said that, my old timer still had its original batteries in it so they obviously last for some time. The fact that they are used in 'The Great British Bake Off' must surely be a recommendation.
