I was rather sceptical about this dish's performance and also the fact that it had some negative reviews but I went ahead and bought it anyway and I have not been disappointed. I have had this butter dish for a few weeks now and I have to say it keeps my butter in perfect condition, even when the kitchen is very hot or cold. I only put half a block in at a time as there are only two of us in the house now. Highly recommended.

This butter dish not only looks great but also keeps the butter at a nice spreadable consistency in our coolish kitchen. I would recommend this product.

I have recently purchased this item and am very pleased with it. Even in the hot weather we've recently experienced the butter has been soft but not runny and hasn't gone rancid - I'm impressed.
