“Disappointingly flimsy

Heston Blumenthal Orb Electronic Scale
I bought these scales because they seemed to have a clear readout. However, I find the photo to be misleading. I had assumed the base was black coated metal. In fact, it is a lightweight, hard plastic which seems rather flimsy for scales at this price. It would also have been useful for the metal tray to have a spout for pouring from.

I have recently purchased a Heston set of weighing scales and I have to say they are PLASTIC PLASTIC PLASTIC not up to salter standard ???
