Eggs from a pod – whatever next? Create perfectly poached eggs time after time with this 21st century solution to the problem of wandering whites. Coat the silicone lightly with oil, crack your egg into the pod, float in boiling water and cover the pan with a lid. Once cooked, flip the pod inside out to release the domed egg.
Can also be used for baking or as a jelly mould.

“At last - easy poached eggs!

I have always loved 'proper' poached eggs, but they always come out wet and /or stringy when I do them the old fashioned way and as my husband never used to like them; I never bothered just for me. BUT - not only are poached eggs on toasted muffins now easy peasy, but my husband has overcome a lifetime dislike and joins me enthusiastically! They come out with teh white perfectly cooked, and the yold still slightly runny...just how we like it. Another brilliant product to make nice things easier! Thank you Lakeland.

“I'll be poaching eggs the old fashioned way

These were a gift, so I feel ungrateful saying that I think they are overrated.
I got faster and better results poaching eggs dropped in the water.
The pod eggs were tricky to get out and then with a rounded bottom were either face down on the plate or on a side, tough at the bottom while the white on top was barely set.
Only the second to disappoint of many Lakeland products. Mine will probably be in the charity shop before long!

“Lovely poached eggs

I love my poaching pods. I've just come on to buy some more as my grown up kids have taken half of mine to their flat! Easy to lift out of the water with a straining spoon and I find you get best results with a lid on the pan to keep the top of the eggs cooking. Love them!
