Lakeland Jelly Strainer

I have just exchanged my old very hard to put together jelly strainer for the new improved version. I am pleased to say that it went together really easily and although I haven't actually used it yet it appears to be a much much better design.

Lakeland Jelly Strainer

I use this for making raw nut and seed milks and it saves a lot of squeezing and mess! It slotted together easily and works exactly as it should!
Plenty of room underneath for a bowl or large jug - I used a 2 litre jug easily.
The bags have elastic at the top, and the stand has little places where the elastic goes so it doesn't slip.
The bags are quite fine, so the first liquid (for nut milks) is quite thin, but when the drips stop, I just either squeeze the bag, or pop the pulp into a coarser mesh bag, for the thicker liquid.
Overall, delighted with this. It's used daily.
