Ditch the grinder!!”
by Miss Heyward
Lovely salt, frustrating grinder. I would much prefer to be able to buy this salt loose to enable me to put it into my own salt mill. Please, please, please start selling it in a bag like the wonderful black peppercorns :-)

Plastic Salt Grinder”
I was hoping that Lakeland would have used a quality glass salt grinder for its Himalayan Salt. I was dissapointed. Please Lakeland can you not provide us with what wonderful Himalayan Salt deserves a quality non-plastic grinder. I know from my research that I'm not the only person searching for this.

Lovely salt but shame about the grinder”
by Rosemary Potter
This salt IS superb, but is let down by the plastic grinding mechanism which is not man enough to grind efficiently. It is a nightmare to use and I suggest that Lakeland sells packs of this salt that can be used in normal salt mills. When I am grinding I get the sense that the mechanism will break. I tried to retrieve the salt and transfer it it to my normal mill, but there is no way it can be extracted. OK, it was under £2 so I am cannot grumble too much. As for the salt, you do not need to use as much as you would with ordinary salt, so I recommend that you taste as you grind. It is delicious, but sadly let down by the grinder. Lakeland, please sell it in bags and let us choose our own salt mill!
