I prepared my first Rib-eye and the griddle worked perfectly. The griddle is now 'seasoned' and ready for my next steak. So, turn up the heat and turn on the extractor fan and enjoy. I think this griddle is great value for money compared to other similar brands.

For the price, this is a good alternative to the traditional french branded option. It looks great and is nice and heavy - pouring spouts v useful. Make sure you clean it while still hot, otherwise you'll be scrubbing for hours.
A note from the team: Thanks for taking the time to write your review. I'm sorry to learn of the difficulties you're having. TIPS - For best results soak in hot soapy water. To help remove burnt on residue put a little water in and heat up gently on hob. I'll be in touch shortly.

This is a superb griddle pan, and excellent value for money - every bit as good as the obvious orange competitor, at about half the price! Unlike some other pans I've looked at, this one has a very flat base so it heats evenly, and is enamelled so it can be used on a ceramic hob without scratching it. If you're not used to cast iron cookware then you really do need to read the instructions carefully first and follow them scrupulously. It's a bit more effort to look after, and it takes a time to come up to temperature, but used properly it is non-stick and easy to clean, and should last years.
