Create your own healthy, dried fruit and veg snacks with our easy-to-use Food Dehydrator. It's also excellent for preserving seasonal fruit all year round to use in your marmalades, jams and salsas.
Simply slice your chosen fruit and arrange on one of the five height-adjustable trays, where a gentle heat from the base will flow evenly through, drawing away moisture without cooking the contents. Flavours and aromas are preserved and concentrated, and shelf life is extended too. It's super for making candied peel and can be used for drying out herbs too, or why not try 'sun-drying' your own tomatoes.

Having bought this product a little while ago I was very wary as I had read adverse comments posted by other customers. However, I can now state that my husband and I agree it is one of my better buys. It does what it should and does it well. We are enjoying dried fruits instead of fattening, unhealthy crisps etc. It is a fabulous way of using up surplus fruits and I am looking forward to this summer and being able to try lots more. Some fruits take longer than others so you need to keep an eye open for "done" items, especially if, like me, you have different fruits on different trays. We love this product and would recommend it to anyone. My five a day is now much easier.

“It hasn't had a chance to cool down since I bought it!

I popped in to my local Lakeland last week and to my excitement they had one of these in the 'clearance' area as the packaging had been damaged.
It is so simple to use, and has hardly been turned off since I got it home - so far I have dried tomatoes, apples, oranges, bananas and Pineapple! At christmas time it is going to be so nice to have dried apple, orange and lemon slices hanging on my tree.
Keep up the good work with sourcing these excellent kitchen gadgets.

I got this for Christmas and I love it - have done apples, bananas, grapes, blueberries, strawberries,cherry tomatoes, a lemon and a lime - they have come out brilliantly! the grapes and apples work really well. I keep an eye on it and move things round but have no complaints whatsoever.
