2 pint Lidded Pudding Basins

I have these basins in various capacities and find them very useful. They have a nice shape for a Christmas pud and the plastic plus lid means you can even send them in the post to family! I see the previous post about the lid not fitting securely - to get round this I tend to cling wrap the basin once it's all cooled - nice and secure and keeps it all fresh and lovely. Work brilliantly in the slow cooker.

2 pint Lidded Pudding Basins

I found these basins very useful & to me the lids seem to fit o.k. although I only use them for storage & haven't cooked a pudding with the lid on. My only query is that I'm not sure how accurate the graduations are, they don't seem to tally with my measuring jug.

2 pint Lidded Pudding Basins

Basins are great and it is such a shame that the lids are useless. Have experienced the same problems with the smaller sizes, so this time I didnt use the lids for the initial steam. Had hoped to use the lids for storing the puddings but they just do not fit well enough. So it was back to greaseproof, foil and string!
