My Kitchen Electric Slicer

This is the third slicer we have bought over the past few years, and is by far the best. We wanted a good slicer as we have just bought a bread maker and wanted to have even slices of bread. This machine replaces one which was twice as heavy, very cumbersome, and which trapped the bottom crust unless two people were operating the machine, and even then it was very difficult to keep the slices from sagging into the trap. The Lakeland slicer has a better design which give regular slices, dropping them into the tray without mangling the crust. We are delighted. Not only that, it was delivered within days of ordering. Well up to Lakeland standards! Thank you for another great product.

My Kitchen Electric Slicer

I bought this so I could make evenly sliced rashers of home cured bacon. It excelled at the bacon so I tried it with other things. It slices cabbage, bread, fennel, cheese, onions, all sorts. I was a little nervous about using it given the blade is very sharp, and I pay close attention. But the guard is good and so far we have had no mishaps!! I wish I had bought it a long time ago

I have wanted one of these for ages; finally bought one in time to do beautifully even slices of home cooked meat for our grand daughters christening party. It did not disappoint - it was easy to use and to clean. I agree that the thickness adjuster was a little stiff to use, but it became easier the more I used the slicer. A great product that I really wished I had bought years ago.
