Just right when cooking for one or two, our compact slow cooker is economical on power and space and saves time and effort in the kitchen. Transforming cheaper cuts of meat into mouth-watering delicacies with long, slow, cooking, it produces the most succulent soups, stews and casseroles.

A little gem, three heat settings provide added flexibility – LOW for simmering and slow cooking, HIGH for faster cooking and AUTO which keeps food at serving temperature until you’re ready to eat. The lidded ceramic pot can be lifted out for serving at the table, or storing leftovers in the fridge.

Recipes for classic beef casserole and Irish stew incl.

Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker

There is no doubt that this is a great piece of kitchen equipment, well made, stylish looking and the couple of times I have used it the results have been perfect.
However, it is much much smaller than anticipated. Obviously I knew it was going to be small but this is just too small for us. I already have a full size slowcooker, which at times I have found too big for the two of us so bought this one. For example, I do a recipe with two pork chops, apples etc, the bowl is too small for the chops to 'sit' on the bottom due to it's shape i.e.much broader at the top than at the bottom. I accept that I should have realised this before using it, hindsight is a wonderful thing!
I need to find a slow cooker sized between this one and a full size one, preferably with straight sides.
Good as it is I honestly can't see myself using this much, if at all.

Large enough for three smallish appetites. Great with the cheaper cuts of meat. Used it all last winter and look forward to getting it out again now that the salad season is well over.
